Stoneyfield Farm Yogurt is officially GF
Local NH business Stoneyfield Farm just announced that their yogurts are officially GF. Got this news in my inbox this morning. I love their products, and I love the fact that they’re certified GF now!
“Nothing in the recipe has changed, the majority of Stonyfield Farm’s products have always been gluten-free, and now it’s official. The Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) has certified many of Stonyfield Farm products gluten-free.
“It’s a certification that we welcome,” says Stonyfield Farm President and CE-Yo Gary Hirshberg. “Now our consumers with gluten intolerance (celiac disease) can enjoy these foods without worry. The next step is to get the rest of our products certified as well.”
The GFCO certification includes the following Stonyfield Farm products*:
– 6 oz. Fat Free, Low Fat, and Whole Milk Organic Yogurt cups (all flavors)
– 32 oz. Fat Free, Low Fat, and Whole Milk Organic Yogurt quarts (all flavors)
– 4 oz. Fat Free Organic Yogurt cups (all flavors)
– 4 oz. YoBaby Organic Yogurt cups (except for YoBaby Plus Fruit & Cereal)
-- 6 oz. YoBaby Organic Drinkable Yogurts (all flavors) -- 10 oz. & 6 oz. Low Fat Organic Yogurt Smoothies (all flavors) -- 4 oz. & 6 oz. O'Soy Soy-Yogurt cups (all flavors) -- 4 oz. YoMommy Low Fat Organic Yogurt cups (all flavors) -- 4 oz. YoKids Low Fat Organic Yogurt cups (all flavors)
GFCO reviewed Stonyfield Farm recipes, ingredients, and testing procedures, and conducted a thorough on-site inspection before certifying Stonyfield products. GFCO also has the right to perform future, unannounced inspections.”
